MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville men's lacrosse team fell in non-conference action Saturday afternoon to visiting SUNY Oswego by a 14-5 final score on Drake Field in Morrisville.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Visiting SUNY Oswego posted six first quarter goals Saturday afternoon as they handed host SUNY Morrisville men's lacrosse a 14-5 defeat on Drake Field in Morrisville in non-conference action.
• Morrisville was held scoreless until the 10:08 mark when Zach Nestor (Manlius, N.Y.) collected his first of the day to put the hosts on the board.
• Trailing 8-1 at the break, Kyan Dohn (East Brunswick, N.J.) added one for the Mustangs at the 13:29 mark of the third to bring Morrisville within six, but Oswego rattled off two straight to regain the commanding lead.
• Nestor added a second tally with 2:54 to go in the third before Oswego wrapped up three quarters of action with their 11^th score to head into the final frame with an 11-3 advantage.
• Dean Mohammed (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) added to the Mustang efforts early on in the fourth, before John Carter (East Syracuse, N.Y.) wrapped up all scoring for the hosts with a extra man tally with 5:40 to go.
• Nathan Weise (Rochester, N.Y.) posted the loss with four stops in the opening quarter before being relieved by Gabe Mathews (Sharon, Conn.) finished the final three with 15 saves.
