MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Host SUNY Morrisville men's basketball claimed the Mustang Tip-Off Tournament Title Sunday afternoon, topping visiting Manhattanville University in the championship round by a 71-67 final score in Morrisville.

• The SUNY Morrisville men's basketball team claimed their second straight win Sunday afternoon, defeating Manhattanville University by a 71-67 final score in the championship game of the Mustangs Tip-Off Tournament in Morrisville.
• The Mustangs trailed by one at the break before rattling off a 45-point second half to edge the Valiants for the victory.
• Yvan Fils-Aime (Dix Hills, N.Y.) and Jalyn Moorehead (Rochester, N.Y.) led Morrisville with 19 points apiece, Fils-Aime collecting the double-double with 12 rebounds to lead the Mustangs on the glass.
• The senior also added two assists and hit three from beyond the arc, while Moorehead added four three-pointers across the afternoon.
• Sophomore Jacob Works (Liverpool, N.Y.) also netted double digits, a 10-point outing, while assisting a team high three.
• Manhattanville had a 24-point afternoon from Andrew Saint-Louis, who also collected six rebounds and assisted a team high four.
• John Ranaghan and Emmanuel Udeagha added 14 and 12 points, respectively.
• Manhattanville built up a seven point lead over the Mustangs four minutes into the second half, but the hosts continued to chip away at the Valiants lead, coming within one with just under seven to go with a three from Moorehead.
• CJ McCullum (Bronx, N.Y.) followed with two free throws to give the Mustangs the one-point advantage, and both teams battled back and forth until the 4:30 mark when Moorehead nailed another from the top of the key to put the hosts up one.
• Manhattanville cut the lead to one possession with 1:20 showing on the clock, and threatened to tie the contest on their ensuing offensive possession, but the layup attempt was rejected as Fils-Aime came up with a huge block under the basket.
• Moorehead hit the front end of two free throws with 15 ticks remaining, and Nokio Kennedy (Yonkers, N.Y.) added two more from the charity stripe with four seconds to go, extending the lead to four.
• Manhattanville made one last effort on their final possession, but Avion Grainger (Syracuse, N.Y.) blocked the three-point attempt as time expired and secured the win for Morrisville.
