POTSDAM, N.Y. – SUNY Morrisville women's soccer team rallied from a two-goal deficit in the second half, but ran out of time as host SUNY Potsdam picked up the 2-1 SUNYAC win on Maxcy Turf Field Saturday afternoon in Potsdam.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Host SUNY Potsdam scored twice in the opening 14 minutes of Saturday's SUNYAC contest in Potsdam, setting the visiting SUNY Morrisville Mustangs back early, eventually collecting the 2-1 victory.
• Potsdam posted their first tally just five minutes in, before adding the second at the 13:31 mark for the two goal lead.
• Morrisville rallied in the second half to put one on the board, a tally that came off the foot of Callie Lafontaine (Chaumont, N.Y.) after the feed from Jaidon Brodie (Mt. Vision, N.Y.) in the 64^th minute.
• Lafontaine's score cut the Mustangs deficit to one, but the Bears were able to keep the visitors from adding another as they posted the league victory to end the season for the Mustangs with a 1-8-0 overall league slate.
• Kayle Roberts (Deansboro, N.Y.) posted 11 saves in net for the Mustangs in the loss, eight that came in the second half of action.
• Caroline Vines posted the win with her two saves across the day's action.
