• Host SUNY Morrisville men's hockey played to a 1-1 overtime draw Wednesday night in Morrisville, tying the Bengals in SUNYAC play at the IcePlex.
• After a scoreless opening period that saw senior goaltender Garrett Boyonoski (Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.) collect 18 stops, Morrisville took the 1-0 lead 5:14 into the second quarter as Jonas Leas (North Vancouver, B.C.) deflected the rebound off the pads of the Bengal netminder over the glove for the score.
• Ryan Glazer (Montreal, Que.) recorded the assist.
• Morrisville held onto the lead until the 18:57 mark when Buffalo State pulled Marcus Cumberworth for the extra skater.
• The Bengals moved the puck around the offensive zone, before sending the equalizing score over the shoulder of a screened Boyonoski to force the overtime period.
• Both teams had opportunities in the extra frame, but were unable to sneak one into the back of the net, settling for the draw.
