MORRISVILLE, N.Y. - The SUNY Morrisville women's hockey team fell in SUNYAC action Saturday as #5 Plattsburgh scored three times in the third to claim a 4-1 league victory over the Mustangs in Plattsburgh.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Host and nationally ranked no. 5 SUNY Plattsburgh battled back from an early Mustang score, before adding three unanswered tallies in the third period to claim the 4-1 SUNYAC win over visiting Morrisville Saturday afternoon.
• Morrisville notched the first goal of the contest 4:17 in as Kendal Kalinowski (Buffalo, N.Y.) chipped the feed from Allie Davidson (Niagara Falls, Ont.) and Miranda Bookman (Manlius, N.Y.) into the back of the net for the 1-0 lead.
• Plattsburgh pulled even though with their first score of the contest midway through the period.
• Playing to a one goal tie heading into the final period of action, Plattsburgh was able to get ahead of the Mustangs with a score at the 11:41 mark before extending their lead to two at 16:31.
• They added a final strike, an empty net goal, at 19:06 to earn the win.
• Emma Plett (Grunthal, Man.) registered 39 saves in net for the Mustangs, a 19 save effort in the second period of play.
