Morrisville, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's basketball team faced off against a tough conference opponent in Maine Maritime Academy on Friday night.  The Mustangs would battle back and forth with the Mariners but would fall short 77-63.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

• The Mustangs would keep things close as they would go into halftime down by 6 points.  The Mariners would come out strong in the second half as they would win the third quarter 19-11.
• Anyssia Ingersoll (Mexico, N.Y.) led the way for the Mustangs as she finished with a double-double as she scored a team high 16 points and pulled down a team high 13 rebounds.
• Brooke Hammersley (Weedsport, N.Y.) would also score in double digits for the Mustangs as she finished with 13 points while also pulling down 7 rebounds.
• Hannah Bonczkowski (Otego, N.Y.)  would make 3 three pointers for 9 points while Josley Medina (Florida, N.Y.) would come off the bench and score 2 three pointers and finished with 8 points.
• Delimar Vega-Haley (Worcester, N.Y.) would come off the bench as a spark for the Mustangs as she would lead the team with 5 assists to go along with her 11 points.
