Morrisville, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's basketball team faced off against North Atlantic Conference East Opponent University of Maine at Farmington on Saturday afternoon.  The Mustangs would jump out early to take the first quarter 9-2 and would not look back as they would pick up the 59-34 win.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

• The Mustangs would start out strong as they would go into halftime with a 24-9 lead. They would continue their strong offensive play in the second half as they shot 47 % in the third and 54% in the fourth quarter.                             
• Anyssia Ingersoll (Mexico, N.Y.) continued her strong play as she led the Mustangs with 10 points while pulling down 6 rebounds.
• Abbie Platt (Oneonta, N.Y.) scored 9 points and pulled down 5 rebounds, while Dezia Becker (Endicott, N.Y.) scored 6 points while dishing out a team high 4 assists.
• Brooke Hammersley (Weedsport, N.Y.) pulled down a team high 9 rebounds while also finishing with a team high 4 steals.
• Anna Neufeld (Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.) shot perfect from the field to score 7 points for the Mustangs while teammate Josely Medina (Florida, N.Y.) hit 3 three pointers for 9 points.
