MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Host SUNY Morrisville men's soccer played to a scoreless draw against visiting Russell Sage College Tuesday, posting the tie in full-time on the Mustangs home field in Morrisville.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• In a non-conference match on Drake Field Tuesday evening, host SUNY Morrisville tested the visiting Russell Sage defense often, but came up empty as they settled for the scoreless tie after full-time on Drake Field in Morrisville.
• Both teams battled back and forth through the opening half before Morrisville got back-to-back looks in the second, unable to put one past the Sage keeper.
• The Mustangs had a breakaway opportunity midway through the second where they had the change to net the go-ahead score, but the shot went wide of the near post.
• Within minutes the Mustangs rifled another toward net, but this time a last second curve found the ball just outside the far post after beating the keeper to the far side of the net.
• Caleb Lucero (Syracuse, N.Y.) recorded no saves in the tie, as all four Sage shots went over the crossbar.
• Morrisville held the 3-2 advantage in corner kicks and 14-4 lead in shots on the night.
