Box Score MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville men's ice hockey team fell in non-league action Friday night to visiting SUNY Canton by a 2-1 final score on their home ice in Morrisville, in a contest played for Center State Youth Hockey.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Host SUNY Morrisville men's hockey took to the ice Friday night in a benefit game for the Center State Youth Hockey Association, and despite a late charge was unable to top the visitors as Canton posted the 2-1 victory on the Mustangs home ice.
• Canton broke the scoreless contest three minutes into the second period before Morrisville's Cameron Clark (Daytona Beach, Fla.) countered for the hosts with his unassisted tally to tie the contest at one at the 11:28 mark.
• The Roos took the lead just 30 ticks into the third with a power play tally, an opportunity that carried over from the second period.
• Despite a push from the Mustangs to post the equalizer, Morrisville was unable to sneak one through as the visitors collected the non-league win.
• Garrett Boyonoski (Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.) collected 26 in the loss for the Mustangs, including a 10 stop effort in the third.
