GENESEO, N.Y. - Nationally ranked no. 7 SUNY Geneseo scored three times in the opening period of Saturday's SUNYAC action against the SUNY Morrisville Mustangs, and added two more down the stretch as they claimed a 5-0 league win in Geneseo.

- Host SUNY Geneseo scored three times over five minutes Saturday in the first period of action to claim a 3-0 lead and didn't look back as they kept the visiting SUNY Morrisville Mustangs off the board to collect a 5-0 SUNYAC win in Geneseo.
- The Knights first tally of the night came at 8:18, an unassisted score, before adding another goal minutes later at 11:24.
- A third Geneseo score at 13:02 found the Mustangs behind 3-0 after the opening period of play.
