Keuka Park, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's basketball team took on the Keuka College Wolves on the road in their season opener.  The Mustangs would win every quarter to pick up the 71-64 win to start the season.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

• The Wolves would take the early lead as they would jump out to an 8-2 lead.  The Mustangs would then outscore the Wolves 16-9 to take an 18-17 lead at the end of the first quarter.
• The Mustangs biggest lead came in the 4^th quarter as Morrisville would extend the lead to 10 points twice.
• Morrisville would hold an advantage in two important categories as they would hold the advantage of points in the paint, scoring 30 while the Wolves only scored 24.  The Mustangs would also finish with 18 fast break points while the Wolves finished with just 10.
• Anyssia Ingersoll (Mexico, N.Y.) led all scores as she finished with a career-high 29 points on 11-20 shooting.  Ingersoll also pulled down 6 rebounds while dishing out 3 assists.
• Brooke Hammersley (Weedsport, N.Y.) finished with a double-double as she scored 16 points, while pulling down a team high 10 rebounds.  Hammersley would also finish the game with 5 assists.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    
• Anna Neufeld (Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.) finished with 8 rebounds, 6 points and two blocks for the Mustangs while Delimar Vega-Haley (Worcester, N.Y.) went 2-3 from the 3point line for 6 points.
• Abbie Platt (Oneonta, N.Y.) came off the bench to lead the Mustangs with 6 assists and 3 steals.

• The SUNY Morrisville Women's Basketball team returns to action on Friday November 10^th when they travel to Lehman College.
