Morrisville, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville men's basketball team picked up their first conference win of the season as they rallied in the second half to take down SUNY Poly 83-77.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

• Morrisville went into halftime down 43-37.  The Mustangs would come out strong in the second half to take the lead and would win the second half 46-34 to pick up the win.
• In the second half the Mustangs offense would pick up as the team shot 53% from the field and 54% (7-13) from behind the 3-point line.
• Jakhi Lucas (Rochester, N.Y.) had a strong game for the Mustangs as he shot 11-18 from the field, 5-8 from the 3-point line, and 3-4 from the free throw line for 30 points.  Lucas also led the Mustangs with 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals.
• Daimarr Miller (Syracuse, N.Y.) scored 17 points for the Mustangs as he shot 7-15 from the field and 2-2 from the free throw line.
• Shykell Brown (Rochester, N.Y.) and Kareem Sanders (Schenectady, N.Y.) both scored in double digits for Morrisville as Brown scored 11 points while Sanders scored 10 points.
• Brandon Kulakowski (Brewerton, N.Y.) came off the bench for the Mustangs to finish with 6 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists.
