Morrisville, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's basketball team fell behind early in the first quarter23-9 but would rally in the second quarter and would cut the lead to just one multiple times in the fourth quarter.  The Cougars would hang onto their lead as they would pick up the win 60-57.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

• The Mustangs had a strong second quarter as they would outscore the Cougars 21-11 to cut the deficit to 4 going into halftime.
• Morrisville's bench played strong for the Mustangs as they outscored the Cougars bench 17-3.
• Delimar Vega-Haley led the way for the Mustangs as she finished 6-12 from the field and 2-2 from the free throw line for 14 points.
• Celeste Baldwin would come off the bench and score 11 points for the Mustangs as she finished 4-7 from the field and 3-5 from behind the arc.  Baldwin also finished with 6 rebounds for the Mustangs.
• Dezie Becker had an all-around strong game for the Mustangs as she finished with 8 points, 5 rebounds and a team leading 6 assists and 2 steals.
• Brooke Hammersly, Anna Neufeld, and Carli Pardee led the Mustangs in rebounds as they all finished with 7 rebounds each.
