Bronx, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's basketball team picked up their second win of the year as they beat Lehman College 74-61.  The Mustangs would finish with a season-high 18 steals on the year while also holding the Lighting to single digit scoring in two quarters.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

• The Mustangs would have a strong first half as they would outscore the Lighting 21-8 in the first quarter and 47-26 in the first half.
• Morrisville would hold an advantage on the boards as they would finish with 46 rebounds while the lighting finished with 30 rebounds.
• Brooke Hammersley (Weedsport, N.Y.) and Dezia Becker (Endicott, N.Y.) led the Mustangs in scoring as both players would finish with 12 points.  Becker would also lead the team with 9 rebounds while also dishing out 3 assists.  Hammersley would lead the Mustangs with 5 steals in the game.
•  Anyssia Ingersoll (Mexico, N.Y.) and Delimar Vega-Haley (Worcester, N.Y.) finished with 9 points while Anna Neufeld (Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.) finished with 8 points and 3 blocks for Morrisville.
• Josely Medina (Florida, N.Y.) came off the bench to score 11 points for the Mustangs while teammate Celeste Baldwin (Bainbridge, N.Y.) would come off the bench to score 7 points while also pulling down 7 rebounds.
