Noeller registers 26 in Saturday SUNYAC affair

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – SUNY Morrisville freshman, Emmaly Noeller (Canastota, N.Y.) recorded 26 saves in the Mustang efforts against visiting SUNY New Paltz Saturday afternoon on Drake Field in Morrisville in State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) action.

  • Host SUNY Morrisville dropped a 9-0 SUNYAC decision to visiting SUNY New Paltz despite a 27 overall save effort from the hosts.
  • Morrisville freshman keeper Emmaly Noeller (Canastota, N.Y.) turned away 26 total attempts by the Hawks, 14 alone in the first half as the visitors were limited to just two tallies by halftime.Field Hockey seniors
  • Emma Plett (Mitchell, Man.) also aided in the Morrisville defensive efforts, collecting a defensive save.
  • Six different hawks collected goals on the day, including Ayden Fleming who came off the bench for a hat trick.
  • Hannah Ackerman added two goals and two assists, while four additional teammates posted a goal apiece.
  • Gail Comiskey collected the save, appearing in net for the first thirty minutes of action, before being replaced by Madison Orsini for the second half.
  • Orsini recorded a save.
  • Prior to the contest, Morrisville honored its senior class.
