Morrisville, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's volleyball team hosted Rochester Institute of Technology on Tuesday night.  Both teams would battle back and forth in a thrilling 5 set match in which the host Mustangs would pick up the win 3-2

• Records: Morrisville 11-11, 2-2 NAC, RIT 7-13, 2-1 LL)

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

• The Mustangs would jump out to a 2-0 lead as they would take the first set 25-23 and then would run away with the second set 25-14.
• The Tigers would battle back as they would get in a rhythm and would take the third set 25-16 and the fourth set 25-15.
• Mustangs had a season 12 blocks, the previous season high was 9.
• Emily Huppee (Liberty Hill, TX) led the Mustangs with 26 kills, while also leading the team with 2 serving aces.  Huppee also finished with 10 digs.
• Kathryn Dolan (Quincy, CA) finished with a team high 5 blocks, while also finishing with 8 kills and 1 serving ace.
• Keelin Baker (Vestal, N.Y.) finished with 11 kills, while teammate Kayci Olson (Cortland, N.Y.) finished with 6 kills.
• Kayla Sheasby (Hood River, OR) continued her strong play on defense as she finished with 29 digs for the Mustangs.
