Box Score ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's volleyball team fell in a 3-0 match to DeSales University Friday evening in Rochester, in the first round of the RIT tournament hosted by the Tigers.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Visiting SUNY Morrisville fell to 10-5 overall to date on the season Friday evening as they dropped a three-set match to DeSales University at RIT in tournament action.
• Emily Huppee (Liberty Hill, Tex.) led the Mustangs with 13 kills on the night, getting double digits from Brianna Gates (Eagle, Colo.).
• Kada Tillman (Orange Beach, Ala.) added six, while serving up an ace and collecting two blocks at the net, while teammate Siobhan Moore (Leyden, Mass.) put up 24 assists.
• Kayla Sheasby (Hood River, Ore.) collected 21 digs in the defensive efforts as Huppee added 12.
• Morrisville maintained striking distance in the opening set until the 20^th point when Emma Notarfranceso served seven straight points for the Bulldogs to claim the set win, 25-20.
• In the second, Morrisville pulled within two late in in the set with a kill by Huppee, but DeSales was able to outlast the Mustangs for the 25-21 set victory.
• Much like the rest of the match, in the third Morrisville battled their way to a 22 point tie late in the set with Huppee and Tillman making a stop at the net, but two straight attack errors by the Mustangs gave the Bulldogs the two-point lead, leading to the match win with a kill on the final point by DeSales.
• Morrisville registered a .140 hitting effort on the night, but outgained DeSales on the defensive side of the ball with 53 digs to the Bulldogs 48.

• Morrisville returns to the court tomorrow for a battle with the host RIT Tigers at 11 a.m. followed by Bard College at 1:30 p.m.
