Box Score ALFRED, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's volleyball squad picked up their 10
th win of the season Saturday afternoon at the Alfred State tri-match, rebounding from an early match loss to the hosts, before claiming the 3-1 match win over Lycoming in the afternoon in Alfred.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- SUNY Morrisville rebounded from an earlier match loss to host Alfred State, as they collected the 3-1 match win against Lycoming College in the second of the day's tri-match action in Alfred.
- Emily Huppee (Liberty Hill, Tex.) collected 20 kills to go along with teammate Brianna Gates (Eagle, Colo.) 11, while Keelin Baker (Vestal, N.Y.) registered nine throwdowns at the net.
- Baker also served up two aces alongside Kayla Sheasby (Hood River, Ore.) who posted three, while Siobhan Moore (Leyden, Mass.) put up 47 assists.
- Sheasby also led the defensive efforts with 25 digs, with Gates contributing 13 and Moore nine for the Mustangs.
- Kada Tillman (Orange Beach, Ala.) led the Mustangs efforts at the net with four blocks, while contributing offensively with two aces.
- Morrisville jumped out ahead in the first and second sets as they rolled to 25-17 wins to take the 2-0 match lead before Lycoming took the third to extra points to edge the Mustangs and pull within one.
- In the fourth, both teams went point for point until an ace by Baker in the fourth found the freshman serving up four straight points to open the set to a 10-7 lead for the Mustangs.
- Morrisville maintained the edge throughout the remainder of the set and put the game away with a block by Gates on match point for the Mustangs to claim the win.

- Morrisville returns to the court Wednesday night, hosting Hamilton College at 7 p.m. on the Mustangs home court.
