WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
  • The Mustangs got on the scoreboard late in the first half, scoring their first goal of the game with just three minutes left in the opening half of play. Freshman midfielder, Kevin San Martin (Ossining, N.Y.) registered the first goal of his SUNY Morrisville career, scoring on the doorstep of the Bison goal with a low shot. Mustang's Joseph Buel (Raeford, N.C.) was credited with the assist.

  • Less than three minutes later, Gargiulo scored his first collegiate goal to put the Mustangs up 3-0, with San Martin earning the assist.
  • Morrisville keeper, Caleb Lucero (Syracuse, N.Y) posted just one save in the win, coming off the head of a Bison forward in the second half of action.
