Box Score ONEONTA, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's volleyball team withstood an Alfred State squad Friday night at the Hartwick College invitational, claiming the 3-1 match win in Oneonta.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• The SUNY Morrisville women's volleyball team collected their eighth win of the season Friday night as they claimed a 3-1 match win over Alfred State College in Hartwick's tournament held in Oneonta.
• Morrisville edged the Pioneers in the opening set, 25-23, but Alfred quickly rebounded in the second with a convincing 25-16 set win to pull the match even at one.
• Morrisville claimed wins in the final two sets of the contest, taking the third 25-20 and 25-21 in the fourth.
• Emily Huppee (Liberty Hill, Tex.) paced the Mustangs with five fills in the third set to regain the match lead, and with the combination of Huppee and Brianna Gates (Eagle, Colo.) in the fourth, led the Mustangs claimed the match win.
• Gates put the game away ion the final play of the match, throwing down the assist from Kayla Sheasby (Hood River, Ore.) for the match victory.
• Huppee collected a total 19 kills on the night, adding three service aces and eight digs, while Gates contributed 17 to the win to go along with 16 digs.
• Keelin Baker (Vestal, N.Y.) rounded out the leaders attacking unit with 11 kills while collecting two blocks at the net, while teammate Kada Tillman (Orange Beach, Ala.) added three.
• Siobhan Moore (Leyden, Mass.) put up 34 assists on the night, with Sheasby leading the defensive play with 19 digs. Sheasby also had five assists.
