Trevor Grasby (Holland Landing, ONT) scored twice Wednesday night in State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) action, but it wasn't enough as host Plattsburgh State collected the 4-2 league win on their home ice.

- Freshman Trevor Grasby (Holland Landing, ONT) scored twice to lead the visiting Mustangs in a SUNYAC battle in the north country, but it wasn't enough as Morrisville fell by a 4-2 final score to host Plattsburgh.
- Grasby notched the first tally of the night 7:39 into the opening period, lifting the loose puck over the glove of Plattsburgh's net minder for the 1-0 Morrisville lead.
- Benjamin Lindberg (East Aurora, N.Y.) and Jake Kaplan (Bowie, Md.) were credited with the assists.
- Plattsburgh would send the game into the first intermission knotted at one, after collecting their first score at 18:05.
- Nearly four minutes into the second the hosts took the one goal lead putting home a power play score after the Mustangs were whistled for a tripping penalty, and the one-goal advantage stood Morrisville gained the extra skater after the Cardinals got sent to the box for boarding.
- With 11 seconds remaining on the power play opportunity for the Mustangs, Grasby tipped the initial shot sent in from Luca Esposito (Bolton, Ont.) from the blue, tying the contest at two.
- Cameron Clark (Daytona Beach, Fla.) was also credited with an assist.
- Plattsburgh regained the lead 6:48 into the third after skating through the Mustangs defense for the wrist shot just outside the crease over Garrett Boyonoski (Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.), and 3-2 lead.
- The Cardinals sealed the win at 14:33, putting away a breakaway tally after sending the puck out of the defensive zone to an open skater at mid-ice.
- Boyonoski finished the contest with 30 total stops in the loss, before Ryan Creenan (Colonia, N.J.) finished out the contest between the pipes, making four saves.

- Morrisville will host Potsdam on Saturday in their home finale, dropping the puck at 7, and wrapping up the season on Sunday with a road stint at Geneseo.
