Box Score MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville Women's Hockey team shut out the visiting Buffalo State Bengals 5-0 in a Northeast Women's Hockey League (NEWHL) contest on Tuesday evening.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The Mustangs picked up what would ultimately prove to be the game winner in the 9th minute of action of the third period when Alana McDonald (Potsdam, N.Y.) found the back of the net off of a centering pass from line mate Rhys Brown (Kemptville, Ont.).
- Morrisville held on to the 1-0 lead for the remainder of the first and through the second period.
- Just under a minute into the third period, the Mustangs scored their first of four in the period.
- McDonald returned the favor to Brown at the 00:59 second mark as Brown cleaned up the rebound from McDonald's initial strike.
- Morrisville struck again at the 6:12 mark with a power play goal from senior, Sierra Voeller (Penticton, B.C.). Allie Davidson (Niagara Falls, Ont.) notched the assist.
- Davidson capped off the scoring for the Mustangs, finding the back of the net twice in the back half of the third period.
- Davidson's first strike came in the 11th minute of action with assists coming from Allicen Bouchard (Rockford, Ill.) and Voeller.
- The final tally from Davidson came in the last minute of play. The goal was unassisted.
- Emma Plett (Grunthal, Man.) picked up the shutout win, picking up 15 saves.

The Mustangs will wrap up their home slate on Friday with a 7 PM contest against NEWHL opponent, Oswego State.
