  • Rachel Vieira (Caruthers, Calif.) paced the Mustangs with 16 points, 11 in the fourth quarter alone, while contributing three steals and three assists to the efforts on the afternoon.
  • Cara Walker (Phelps, N.Y.) added 11, posting the double-double with 11 rebounds.
  • Anna Neufeld (Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.) just missed a double-double for the Mustangs, recorded a team high 12 rebounds, six that came on the offensive glass, while adding eight points and two blocks to her tallies on the day.
  • After pulling even at 31 at the halftime break, Hartwick outgained the Mustangs 18-7 in the third to head into the final quarter with an 11-point advantage.
  • Out of the gates, Vieira hit a three from the corner to cut the lead to eight, and Neufeld followed with two free throws to make it a six point game just a minute in, before Vieira added a layup off the steal to cut the deficit to four.
  • Hartwick maintained a two-possession distance over the hosts, putting together a six point spurt to regain a double-digit advantage, but Vieira and Neufeld rallied the Mustangs and made it a two-point game with 22 seconds remaining.
  • The Hawks made two free throws with 19 seconds to go, sealing the win as the Mustangs attempt on the ensuing possession bounced off the back of the rim.
