ALBANY, N.Y. – Host Russell Sage College women's basketball used a 25 point fourth quarter to get past visiting SUNY Morrisville Tuesday afternoon, handing the Mustangs a 70-59 non-conference loss in Albany.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Host Russell Sage College outscored visiting SUNY Morrisville 25-13 in the fourth quarter Tuesday afternoon to hand the Mustangs a 70-59 non-league loss in Albany.
• Brooke Hammersley (Weedsport, N.Y.) led the Morrisville efforts with 21 points, collecting the double-double with 10 rebounds, while adding two steals and an assist to her totals.
• Cara Walker (Phelps, N.Y.) added 17 points to go along with five rebounds and four assists.
• Morrisville trailed 33-29 at the half and used a 17-point third quarter to claim the one-point advantage heading into the fourth, but the Gators opened with three straight three-pointers to put the Mustangs behind by eight just two minutes into the final frame.
• Hammersley collected a bucket in the paint to bring the Mustangs within five with 4:39 to go, but Sage put together a 7-0 spurt to broaden the gap to double-figures, collecting the win.
