• SUNY Morrisville men's basketball led 31-26 at the half before doubling up the Mighty Oaks in the second as they rolled to a 80-53 win over SUNY ESF in the second day of Route 20 Classic competition.
• Jordan Coard (Jamaica, N.Y.) led Morrisville with 14 points, adding three assists and five rebounds, while teammate Michael Litchfield (St. Albans, N.Y.) chipped in 12 points, netting four from long range.
• Skykell Brown (Rochester, N.Y.) also collected double digits, just missing the double-double as he posted 11 points and snagged nine rebounds on the day.
• Morrisville dominated the glass, outgaining ESF 52-31 and limited the Mighty Oaks to a 28% shooting effort tin the second half.
• The all around team effort saw 13 netting buckets to contribute to the win, while outgaining ESF 31-12 in bench points.
• Morrisville also dominate the paint 38-18 and led from the opening whistle to earn the 31-26 halftime lead.
• Opening with a 12-2 run in the second, Morrisville widened the gap to 15 four minutes into the final period before adding a second 10-2 run to put the game further out of reach for the Mighty Oaks.
