Box Score OSWEGO, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's hockey team fell in NEWHL action Saturday afternoon as host Oswego posted three tallies in the third to claim a 4-1 win on the Lakers home ice in Oswego.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Host SUNY Oswego scored three times in the third period to take down visiting SUNY Morrisville women's hockey, registering the 4-1 NEWHL final in Oswego.
• Morrisville's Hailee Easson (Okotoks, Alta.) posted the Mustangs lone goal, a power play tally at the 15:30 mark off the feed from Kate Mabey (Guelph, Ont.) and Alana Palameta (Windsor, Ont.).
• Maggie Jones (Marystown, N.L.) registered 29 stops in the loss between the pipes for the Mustangs, posting a double digit save effort in the second with 14 saves.
• Oswego was first to strike on the day, collecting the game's first goal at the 6:49 mark on an unassisted tally, before Easson posted the equalizer at the 15:30 mark on the power play.
• With both teams tied at one apiece after two periods, Oswego came out on fire in the third and took the one goal lead just under two minutes in, maintaining that distance until the 15:54 mark when they added a third score.
• The Lakers put the game out of reach with a third goal of the period just over a minute later for the 4-1 advantage and eventual win.
• Ashlyn McGrath finished with two goals for the Lakers, while Lexi Levy recorded 25 saves in the win.
