Box Score MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Visiting Oswego State scored twice in the third period to skate past host SUNY Morrisville women's hockey Friday afternoon, as the Mustangs dropped a 4-1 Northeast Women's Hockey League (NEWHL) decision to the Lakers on their home ice.

• Host SUNY Morrisville women's hockey fell to 0-4-1 on the season and 0-3-0 in NEWHL action Friday afternoon as they dropped a 4-1 league decision to visiting SUNY Oswego on the Mustangs home ice in Morrisville.
• Both teams skated to a scoreless first period before the Lakers notched the first tally of the afternoon two minutes into the second period.
• Oswego posted another at the 5:45 mark to take a 2-0 lead over the Mustangs, until the 19^th minute of the period when Allie Davidson (Niagara Falls, Ont.) posted her second goal of the season, a power play tally to bring Morrisville within one.
• Meadow Clarke (Middlesackville, N.S.) picked up her first collegiate point, assisting Davidson's goal.
• Oswego regained a two-goal lead at the 15:23 mark of the third with a second tally from Ashlyn McGrath, before putting the game out of reach with an empty net score at 19:23.9 for the 4-1 win.
• Maggie Jones (Marystown, N.L.) registered 41 saves in the loss for the Mustangs in net, including 17 in the final period.
• Oswego held the 45-18 advantage in shots over the Mustangs, but went 0-for-4 on the power play while Morrisville was 1-for-3.
