Box Score MORRISVLILE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville men's basketball team resumed season action Tuesday night as they played host to visiting Wells College for a United East showdown on the Mustangs home court in Morrisville.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Host SUNY Morrisville men's basketball resumed United East action Tuesday evening after the holiday break and fell in league play to visiting Wells College by a 66-59 final in Morrisville.
• The Mustangs were paced by guard Tron Smith (Brooklyn, N.Y.) who collected 22 points and added three assists to his totals, while seven additional teammates contributed to Morrisville's scoring.
• Michael Litchfield (Saint Albans, N.Y.) added nine points, draining three from beyond the arc, while fellow teammate Hunter Kowaleski (Cazenovia, N.Y,) chipped in eight points to go along with a team high 12 rebounds.
• Morrisville led 30-27 at the break over the Express before the visitors put together a comeback in the second half, outscoring the Mustangs 39-29 as they collected the win.
• Ransel Rodriguez led Wells with 16 points, adding seven rebounds, while Jalen Feliz netted 16 and posted the double-double with 11 rebounds.

 
 
WHAT'S NEXT:
 

• Morrisville will hit the road for the first time in 2022 on Friday, traveling to St. Mary's College for a second meeting in program history between the two. The Mustangs faced the Seahawks back in 2013 during the NCAA tournament. St. Mary's joined the United East as a member in 2021.
