WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
  • The hosts jumped on the scoreboard early, scoring their first goal of the game less than a minute into the start of play. Sophomore, Ashley Tette (Rochester, NY) gained position just outside the penalty box and chipped a shot over Bradford's Emily Bethel to record her first goal, unassisted, of the season.
  • Morrisville outshot the Panthers 4-3 in the first half, but neither team found the back of the net throughout the remainder of the first half.
  • Sophomore, Tiffany Dicenzo (Rochester, NY) posted her third goal of the early season in the 53' minute of play. Junior forward, Angelina Rinaldi (Huntington Station, NY) fired off a shot inside the penalty box, but the attempt was blocked by Bethel. Dicenzo controlled the rebound and found the back of the net. Rinaldi was credited with the assist.
  • Midfielder, Madison Pelton (Phoenix, NY) rounded out the scoring for the Mustangs with an extraordinary header in the 88' minute. After a foul just outside the penalty box, Dicenzo took the free kick, crossing the ball into the box in perfect position for Pelton to seize the opportunity and notch her first collegiate goal.
  • Dicenzo led Morrisville with one goal and one assist on the evening, while Meaghan Miller (West Irondequoit, NY) registered four saves in all 90' minutes of action between the pipes.
