WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
  • The Mustangs controlled possession much of the first half, tallying eight shots to Cazenovia's one throughout the first half.
  • The Mustangs struck first in the scoring column with a goal coming from Jennyfer Marquez (Port Chester, NY). The sophomore midfielder rocketed a shot from twenty yards out to put the hosts up 1-0 less than six minutes in to the start of the contest.

  • Morrisville would again take the lead, this time with an unassisted goal coming from junior, Zoe Costello (Kingston, NY). Costello used some fancy footwork, weaving her way through several Wildcat defenders, striking the ball from 25 yards out to find the back of the net.
  • Cazenovia would tie the game for a second time, just minutes into the second half, as McIntyre scored her second goal of the contest.

  • Morrisville controlled much of the stat sheet, out shooting Cazenovia 10-7 in the game, and holding a narrow 3-2 edge in corner kicks.
  • Sophomore keeper, Meaghan Miller (West Irondequoit, NY) recorded two saves in goal for the Mustangs.
