MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville men's soccer team hosted the Broncos of SUNY Delhi on Sunday afternoon on their home pitch, extending their win streak to two games in a row. The Mustangs lone second half goal propelled the hosts to a 1-0 victory.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The Mustangs came out blazing in the first half, holding an 11-2 advantage in shots, and taking eight corner kicks in the opening 45' minutes of action. Despite the offensive prowess, Morrisville was unable to notch a score, heading into halftime tied 0-0.
- Chandley Elie (Baldwin, NY) had two header opportunities, back to back in the opening 8' minutes of action, both off of corner kick opportunities. But the junior forward was unsuccessful with both attempts. Delhi's keeper, Jonathan Walch made a great save on the first shot, while Elie was just off target with the second.
- Morrisville scored their solo goal of the game in the 71' minute of action; Elie came roaring down the left side of the field and fired a shot from just inside the penalty box, posting his sixth goal of the season.
- After 90' minutes of action, the Mustangs held a 15-9 edge in shots on the Broncos, while Delhi took 11 total corner kicks to Morrisville's 8.
- Morrisville's keeper Cody Welkley (North Rose, NY) had four saves in 90' minutes of play for the Mustangs.
WHAT'S NEXT:
- After playing five games in the last twelve days, the Mustangs take a much needed break, hosting St. Mary's College of Maryland on Saturday afternoon. Morrisville is slated to take the pitch at 1:00pm.
