  • Hobart finished with 4080-yards total offense on the day, 231 that came in the running game.
  • Morrisville was limited in their offensive efforts, compiling just 112-yards across four quarters, registering 92 of those on the ground behind the combined efforts of Savion Williams (Peekskill, N.Y.) and Alex McBurnie (Brooklyn, N.Y.).
  • Quamel Jarvis (Rochester, N.Y.) had one catch for Morrisville for 13 yards, as Alek Britten (Schenectady, N.Y.) struggled under center, connecting on just six of 26 pass attempts.
  • The Mustangs defense, who worked for 36 minutes on the field, was led by the efforts of the linebacker unit, including Joe Miller-LaBar (Groton, N.Y.) who posted a season best 13 total stops, nine solo tackles.
  • Ernesto Mitchell (Wheatley Heights, N.Y.) and Philemon Benjamin (Queens, N.Y.) added another five apiece, Mitchell also registering a pass breakup in the efforts.
  • Hobart's David Krewson registered 159 yards passing on 11-of-29 completions, finding lead receiver Alex LaBella five times for a team high 75 yards.
  • It was the Statesmen, though, that found their pace in the running game in the second quarter and beyond, as the duo of Rayshaw Boswell and Tim Denham, Jr. combined for 32 total carries and 179 net yards on the day, scoring a touchdown each.
  • Defensively CJ Calero led Hobart with eight total tackles, while teammates Dante Kimbrough and Peters Monexant each forced turnovers as they reined in the tipped ball for interceptions.
  • Both teams got off to a slow start in the opening quarter, neither moving the ball forward on their first possession and collecting no more than 28 yards in a single drive attempt.
  • It was Hobart that broke through in the second, though, as Britten's pass attempt was tipped and fell into the hands of Kimbrough who returned the ball into Mustang territory, setting up a 22-yard field goal with 10:14 showing on the clock.
  • Morrisville attempted to rebound from the turnover, but the Hobart defense forced the Mustangs back and regained possession of the ball to put together their own scoring drive, and second of the quarter.
  • Hobart utilized the run game to push the ball forward, completing the nine-play, 50-yard drive with a five-yard run to the left for the touchdown score at 5:37.
