- The shut-out win is the first for LaPlace in his collegiate career and marks a single game record for lowest goals-against average in program history since becoming a member of the NCAA in 2006.
- Alex Nowak (Cazenovia, N.Y.) and Dante Patriarco (Cortland, N.Y.) each collected six points in the win for the Mustangs, Nowak netting four tallies and assisting two others, while Patriarco contributed three goals and three assists.
