• Visiting SUNY Morrisville women's ice hockey wrapped up their weekend action with a road loss Saturday at NEWHL opponent, and top team in the nation, Plattsburgh, falling by a 9-0 final score.
• Three split time in net for the Mustangs in the loss, with Mak Ganje (Vail, Colo.) recording 13 saves and the loss in the first period of action.
• Elizabeth Timby (Getzville, N.Y.) played between the pipes in the second, turning away 10 while allowing four scores, while Emma Plett (Grunthal, Man.) saw time in the final period, recording 14 saves.
• Hailee Easson (Okotoks, Alta.) led Morrisville with 10 wins on 16 attempts on the faceoff.

• Keeping the Cardinals scoreless for the remainder of the opening frame, Plattsburgh rallied for four straight in four minutes time in the second, before wrapping up all scoring in the opening eight minutes of the third.
• Morrisville put up 20 on the Cardinals, as Lilla Nease kept the visitors off the board with her shut out victory in net for the hosts.
