Box Score BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's basketball team fell to the Golden Eagles in the title game of the SUNY Brockport tip-off tournament Saturday afternoon, registering the 70-40 loss in Brockport.

• Visiting SUNY Morrisville women's basketball was slow out of the gates Saturday afternoon struggling to find their offensive rhythm as host SUNY Brockport raced out to a 36-14 halftime lead enroute to the tournament championship title on their home court in Brockport.
• Morrisville's Dezia Becker (Endicott, N.Y.) led the Mustang efforts with 14 points, hitting 4-of-9 from long range.
• Carli Pardee (South Kortright, N.Y.) added six with two three-pointers of her own, while teammate Cara Walker (Phelps, N.Y.) pulled down a team best eight rebounds in the efforts.
• Brockport took advantage of their size on the glass, outgaining the visitors 60-27 in rebounds, adding 26 second chance points to their totals on the day.
• A total 36 for the Golden Eagles were scored in the paint across all four quarters.
• Morrisville had their strongest quarter of action of the afternoon in the third, outgaining Brockport 18-15, as Becker hit back-to-back three's to make it a 17-point deficit, but the hosts maintained their distance as they collected the win after a dominating fourth.
