PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Morrisville men's hockey team dropped their State Universities of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) finale on Saturday night, 5-1 at Plattsburgh State.

- The Mustangs found the back of the net first on Saturday night in the sixth minute of play in the first period.
- Christian Vella (Rochester, N.Y.) tallied the opening score, with Charlie Bedard (Southampton, N.Y.) and Ryan Bochert (Denver, Colo.) assisting on the goal.
- Morrisville was able to hold on to the slim lead throughout the remainder of the first and into the second.
- However, the tides turned in the second when the Cardinal's offensive persistence paid off.
- Plattsburgh would go on to tally two goals in the second and three more in the third to take the 5-1 win.
