MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – One night after capturing their first conference victory of the season, the Mustangs ran into a road block as the visiting SUNY Delhi Broncos stunned Morrisville in a five set back and forth affair.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

• Morrisville set the pace in the first set, capturing the 25-14 win.
• However, the visiting Broncos flipped the script in the second, holding Morrisville to a sub .100 hitting percentage while hitting .310 themselves on their way to a 25-21 second set win to even the match at one set apiece.
• The Mustangs returned to dominance in the third set, picking up 12 kills while holding the Broncos to just two.  Morrisville won the third set in decisive fashion, 25-11.
• SUNY Delhi came out victorious in a wild fourth set that included six tie scores and three lead changes to force a fifth set.
• Morrisville was the first to eight points in the fifth set, but the Broncos came alive after the side switch to stun the Mustangs 15-13 to take the match.
• Brianna Gates (Eagle, Colo.) came up big several times throughout the match for the Mustangs, collecting 17 kills to go along with 5 aces, two solo blocks, and a block assist.
• Also collecting double digit kills for Morrisville was Kirsten Florio (Wellsboro, Pa.) with 15 and Jillian Hoffman (Virginia Beach, Va.) with 12.

WHAT'S NEXT

• The Mustangs will take a weekend hiatus before returning to action on Wednesday, September 25 with a road contest at Wells College at 7 PM.
