MORRISVILLE, NY – Senior midfielder,
Michael Oyenuga (Bronx, NY) notched his first goal of the season Saturday afternoon as the Morrisville State men's soccer team recognized both Oyenuga and
Charles Baffour on senior day. Despite two extra periods of action in overtime, the Mustangs were forced to settle for a 2-2 tie with the visiting Wildcats of Penn College.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- All four goals were scored in the first half of play with host, Morrisville State putting the Mustangs on the scoreboard first. Oyenuga ripped a shot past the Wildcat goalkeeper to the top left corner of the goal. Sophomore midfielder, William Lynch (Island Trees, NY) was credited with the assist on the goal.
- Penn College's Chris McFarland evened the score in the 25th minute, scoring on a penalty kick.
- Morrisville State took their second lead of the game in the 40th minute of action when sophomore midfielder, Salu Zakari (Bronx, NY) put a shot away just outside the goal box. Chandley Elie (Baldwin, NY) earned the assist on the play.
- The Mustang lead was cut again in the 44th minute of play when Adam Heintzelman scored for Penn College, evening the score to 2-2 heading into halftime.
- Neither team was able to find the back of the net in the second half, sending the game into overtime. After two extra periods of action, both teams were forced to settle to a 2-2 tie.
- Both teams finished with 14 totals shots while Penn College held a 6-3 advantage in corner kicks.
- Freshman goalkeeper, Tyler Card (McGraw, NY) played all 110 minutes in goal for the Mustangs, allowing two goals and recording 10 saves on the day.

- Morrisville State is back in action Friday afternoon when they travel to Lancaster Bible for North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play. Action is slated to start at 3:00pm.
