WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
  • Brockport scored three goals to start the third quarter and opened the gap to a four goal advantage after holding a 2-1 lead at the break, collecting the eventual 5-2 SUNYAC win over the host Mustangs Friday night.
  • Morrisville State goalkeeper Morgan Dueber (Owego, N.Y.) kept the Golden Eagles off the board in the opening quarter, turning away six total shots, before two break away tallies in the second gave the visitors the 2-1 advantage at the half.
  • The Mustangs lone tally of the half came at the 24:09 mark as the hosts were awarded a penalty stroke. Sophomore Grace Hanehan (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) buried the penalty shot in the back left corner of the goal to tie the contest at one.

  • They added a third at the 33:30 mark off the chip from the center of the circle to widen the gap to a four goal advantage.
  • Morrisville State was able to get one back in the 36th minute as Erica Sciallo (East Islip, N.Y.) tipped in the long ball from Hanehan from about 20 yards out.
