Box Score MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville State College men's soccer team posted their third straight victory Sunday afternoon, topping host SUNY Polytechnic Institute 1-0 in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action in Marcy.
The win boosts the Mustangs to 3-2-1 overall, 3-0-0 in NEAC play. SUNY Poly drops to 2-4-1 overall, 0-2 in conference action.
Morrisville State's lone goal came in the 56th minute of the contest, an unassisted tally from sophomore forward Jamieson McKoy (Bronx, N.Y.).
Rob Larkin (Clinton, N.Y.) recorded the shutout win in net, making two stops on the day.
Jess Yanarella registered nine saves in the loss for the Wildcats, who were out shot by the visitors 24 to nine.
Morrisville State returns to the field next Saturday, traveling to Lancaster Bible College in a rematch of the 2014 NEAC Championship Tournament final.
