Box Score MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville State College (6-2, 3-1 NEAC) faced Bryn Athyn (1-7, 0-5 NEAC) Saturday afternoon on Drake Field. A dominate second half from a a balanced offense led to a 5-0 win for the Mustangs.
Gilroy Alvarez (Guatemala) scored the first and only goal of the first half off an assist from Brian Culkin (West Islip, N.Y.) for a one timer. Julian Rodriguez (Bronx, N.Y.) scored off of Jacob Chase (Cooperstown, N.Y.) six minutes into the second half. Rodriguez received a cross pass from Culkin eleven minutes later for his second goal. Less than two minutes later Joe Sheehan (Liverpool, N.Y.) finished off a deflection of the goal keeper, from a pass from Jose Figueroa (Boston, M.A.). Greg Squire (Barneveld, N.Y.) scored the final goal of the contest.
Rob Larkin (Clinton, N.Y.) recorded the win for the day.
The Mustangs face NEAC rival Penn State Abington on Drake Field tomorrow at 2 p.m.
