Box Score MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville State College men's soccer team traveled to Penn College for a NEAC conference matchup Saturday afternoon. After being down 2-0 at the half, the Mustangs were able to put one in the back of the net but it wasn't enough to overcome the deficit.
Just over ten minutes into the first half, Penn College struck first to take the lead. Seven minutes later they found the back of the net again and maintained that lead until halftime.
Thirty minutes into the second half, the Mustangs Jose Figueroa (Boston, M.A.) scored unassisted off a rebound shot. Rob Larkin (Clinton, N.Y.) tallied two saves for the day in the loss.
The Mustangs return to their home field Tuesday, September 16th at 6 p.m. for a non-conference matchup against Hilbert College.
