ROAD TO MORRISVILLE:
Paul Allsopp joined the Mustang staff as head coach of the women’s soccer program for the fall 2021 season.
During his first season on the sidelines with the Mustangs, Allopp guided the young squad to a 7-7-2 overall record, posting a 2-4-2 United East slate.
Building across two seasons, Allsopp's squad posted a 6-8-3 overall record in 2023, while going 4-2-2 in NAC play, earning a slot in the conference playoffs. Making a surprising run to opponents, the Mustangs claimed the NAC Western Division Championship with an upset victory in both rounds and served as host side for the Championship final.
No stranger to the Mustang sidelines, Allsopp served as assistant coach for the men's program after serving as the interim head coach for nearby Cazenovia College men’s soccer program where he spent time with the Wildcats as assistant coach for the men’s and women’s soccer programs from 2017-18.
During his time at Cazenovia, Allsopp was responsible for overseeing the recruitment of student-athletes and monitoring of team budgets and academic progress.
Active in the soccer community, Allsopp currently serves as the Director of Coaching for the Fayetteville-Manlius Youth Soccer Club, overseeing the youth program of nearly 700 players and 100 coaches. Likewise, he is the owner of the English Soccer Schools, running camps, clinics and after school programs within Central New York.
Prior to his time in the collegiate ranks, Allsopp spent a year with the UK Elite as an Assistant Regional Manager in Pennsylvania, coaching several girl and boy travel teams, while organizing and managing tournaments, leagues and camps across the state.
Prior to joining the collegiate ranks, Allsopp served as part of the Fayetteville-Manlius staff that led the squad to an undefeated 20-win season and Section III Championship in 2014.
The UEFA B certified soccer coach also holds an advanced National Diploma from the NSCAA, bringing more than ten years of experience to the Mustang pitch after working with professional soccer organizations such as the New York Red Bulls and AFC Bournemouth.
Allsopp holds a bachelor's degree in sport and exercise science from Leeds Beckett University, earning his masters of arts degree in business studies in 2004.
