Former SUNY Morrisville volleyball standout Kim Dunkleman has returned to the Mustang courts for the upcoming fall 2021 season, as assistant coach of the women’s program as announced by head coach Fred Wallace.

Dunkleman returns to the green and white Mustangs after serving as assistant coach at Centre College in Kentucky.

During her time at Centre, Dunkleman assisted the Colonels with not only creating and executing drills on the court, but also implementing recruiting strategies for the institution. She also managed the program’s social media accounts.

Prior to her role at Centre, Dunkleman served as a volunteer assistant with the Mustangs program, working with Wallace in recruiting as well as preparation for practice and competition. Dunkleman joined Wallace on staff following a storied four-year career as a student-athlete at Morrisville where she assisted in guiding the team to an 81-44 overall record as a setter.

The Williamsville, New York native guided the program to it’s first North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) title and added a second her senior season as she made two appearances in the opening round of the NCAA Championship tournament. During her time on the court, the Mustangs went an astonishing 36-9 on their conference slate.

Across her four-year career Dunkleman etched her name in the Mustang record books 13 times, ranking first overall in assists, while ranking second in service aces. Her efforts across her career lauded her All-Decade Team honors as released in 2020.

Dunkleman is a 2020 graduate of SUNY Morrisville with a degree in entrepreneurship and small business management and also has her New York State Coaching Certification.
