Briggs will join the staff as a volunteer skating coach for the upcoming year.
Briggs comes to Morrisville after serving in a coaching role for more than 20 years with National, International, World and Olympic Coach Peter Burrows and MaryLynn Gelderman.
A current member of USA Hockey, for 40-years he has served as a member of the National Ice Skating Association of Great Britain, and 24-years with the US Figure Skating Association and Professional Skaters Association.
Briggs competed internationally, representing Great Britain from 1988 to 1994 in two European Championships (1992, 1994), two World Championships and the 1992 Olympic Games.
A wealth of coaching experience to his backing, Briggs spent three years as a head coach with the North Jersey Avalanche, while coaching power skating for all levels of hockey players.
