SUNY Morrisville women’s lacrosse head coach Andrea Cofrin has announced the addition of Mustang alum Aria Treadway, as assistant coach for the 2024-25 season.
Treadway comes to Morrisville after volunteering last spring with the Mustangs, returning to the sidelines of the program she called home for four years.
The Rome, N.Y. native played four seasons for the Mustangs in the midfield, earning All-Conference honors three times throughout her career. During her time on the field, the Mustangs were NEAC regular season and tournament Champions and earned a bid to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament.
Throughout her career she made 43 starts in the midfield, collected 112 goals and assisted another 22 for 134 points, was instrumental to the transition and defensive unit, causing 47 turnovers, picking up 70 ground balls and winning 70 draw controls.
Finding success on the field as well as in the classroom, Treadway was an inductee into the Chi Alpha Sigma honor society for student-athletes in the Spring 2022, earning her degree in business management in December 2023 after her career as a two-sport student-athlete for the Mustangs.
