Parker joined the Mustang coaching staff as assistant coach of the cross country program in the 2018 season following a stellar career as head coach at Mohawk Valley Community College.
Parker served as coach of the men's and women's cross country programs at Mohawk Valley Community College from 1989 until 2017, earning the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) national championship in 1995.
Eleven times in his career he guided the women's team to the national title. His women's teams were selected as teams of the decade twice, producing over 100 All-Americans.
He resides in Whitesboro with Geraldine, his wife of 43 years.
