SUNY Morrisville head football coach Ed Raby announced the addition of Jacob Dopsovic to the Mustangs staff as offensive line coach for the upcoming fall 2021 season.
Dopsovic comes to SUNY Morrisville after a stint at Kings College where he served as the running backs coach beginning in the summer of 2019.
During his time in Wilkes-Barre, Dopsovic was responsible for position academic performance, monitoring and counseling group sessions, along with assisting the offensive coordinator with all aspects of the offensive game. While with the Monarchs, Dopsovic coached Jordan Downes who ranked sixth overall in Division III in all-purpose yards, while leading the league in rushing yards per game. Downes finished his career ranking second all-time at Kings in rushing yards.
Prior to joining the staff at Kings, Dopsovic spent just over a year at start-up program Alvernia University as the offensive line coach and tight ends coach, also serving as the JV offensive coordinator from March 2018 thru May 2019.
Dopsovic was on staff for three seasons with Campbell University in North Carolina, serving as the offensive quality control coach for the Division I program, while assisting with the quarterbacks, wide receivers and offensive line.
While with Campbell, the offensive unit ranked eighth in the FCS in first down offense and 24th overall in total offense. They also ranked second in the PFL in scoring offense, total offense and rushing offense.
Dopsovic began his coaching career at Lafayette College in 2014 as a defensive assistant, also assisting with the defensive line.
He currently holds a Bachelor of Science degree in sports management from East Stroudsburg University.
