All media inquiries to coaches, student-athletes or any member of the athletic staff must be directed through the Sports Information Office. Student-athletes and/or coaches contacted directly should notify the sports information office immediately.

Interview Policy
All interviews with coaches and student-athletes should be coordinated through the SUNY Morrisville sports information office. Players and coaches can be made available throughout the week, and interviews will be scheduled at a mutually convenient time. Contact information for student-athletes WILL NOT be released to any media personnel at any time.

Players and coaches will be made available following a brief cooling off period at the conclusion of the event. All post-game interviews should be coordinated with the sports information director covering the event and will occur in the press box/area unless otherwise coordinated.

Privacy Rights of Student-Athletes
All SUNY Morrisville athletic department persons (inclusive of administrative, coaching staff, department staff and student-athletes) are expected to comply with SUNY Morrisville and NCAA rules and regulations, as well as federal laws, regarding the release of personal information related to student-athletes and prospective student-athletes.

Therefore, in accordance with SUNY Morrisville, NCAA rules and regulations and the 1974 Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), personal information about the student-athlete is not to be used or released unless the student-athlete has given his/her consent to the SUNY Morrisville sports information staff for the release of such information for publicity use.

Such release of information for publicity use must be coordinated through the Sports Information office.
