Intramurals and Open Recreation at SUNY Morrisville provides a comprehensive program that gives students the opportunity to enjoy all levels of organized sports, regardless of athletic ability. Every year students compete in various leagues, tournaments, and open events. Students are provided with equipment and state-of-the-art facilities. It’s a great way to meet people, work out, and have fun!
To continue to offer Intramurals & Open Recreation, it’s important that everyone observes and abides by established policies. These policies are in place to protect the health and safety of the students. As with all events on campus, students are expected to adhere to the student code of conduct in the student handbook. Drugs and alcohol are prohibited at all Intramural & Open Recreation events. Good sportsmanship is essential to the success and enjoyment of the program. Remember, there’s no reason to play so hard where someone gets angry or hurt.
